There are many Business Analysis tools available for the evaluation of various aspects of businesses or projects. Indeed, for the improvement of Problem Solving Processes.
I have placed several of these tool and techniques together for your benefit.
For many years when I started out on my career, I was amazed at how well some people could manage. Now there are a lot of reasons why and how a person can be a good manager - but for me, it is the ability to reach the right decision at the right time that stands out.
Now, going by the old saying "A decision is only as good as the information known when making that decision", it only stands to reason:
"The better the information you have, the better your decisions will be".
For this reason, analysis methods are so important to harvest the best information out of any situation and therefore make the best decisions.
Clearly then - and my experience proved this - the more techniques and methods you can use as a manager, the more likely you will be a success.
Studies carried out by the United Nations showed that by 2020 one of the top ten important work skills will be the ability of "CRITICAL THINKING".
The ability to assess and analyse information critically for optimum use in decision-making.
Business analysis involves the responsibility to identify needs and determine solutions to business problems.
These needs or solutions can involve system or process improvements or indeed change management, strategic planning and policy development.
Many of these tools are widely used in Quality Management, Purchasing, R&D, Process Management alike.
For that reason I have placed a group of these tools or methods together - the ones that have the most universal application.
